Outreach & Special Events
QUEST OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Bible Clubs and Pastoral Programs are part of our outreach ministry. Our strategy is two-pronged: (i) to set up Bible Clubs in every residential area within our sphere of influence, and (ii) to have a Pastoral Program in every primary school within our reach. So far we have a Bible club that meets bimonthly at Santack Estate, and weekly Pastoral programs at Jamhuri and Kawangware Primary Schools. Additionally, we run an outreach program to the children of the Jamhuri Prison wardens.
On 6th and 7th April, 2011 the Quest Outreach Department partnered up with K-Krew to hold special evangelistic events for the children at Jamhuri and Kawangware Primary respectively, during their closing day ceremonies. The K-Krew DJ’s led the children in amazing sessions of song, dance, praise and worship, followed by performances by famous artists, Daddy Owen, Kevo Yutt and TE TE TE.
We had the unique opportunity of sharing the word with the entire school student population on both days and we praise God for the 71 children who accepted Christ as their Saviour.
Please stand in prayer with us for:
- God to continue strengthening our outreach team,
- God to continue giving us favour with the two schools we visit for PPI,
- God to open up more opportunities in other schools,
- God to help us raise up labourers so that we may venture into more schools, and
- God to raise financiers to help us do more for the school we visit.

NEST Presentation
On Sunday 17th October, 2010, the 2-5 year old’s took a special presentation to the adult church, showcasing what they’ve been learning and the gifts that God has blessed them with. Dressed in costumes of all sorts of animals, the children reenacted the story of Noah, and rocked the stage with their constructed guitars when they led their parents and the rest of the adult congregation in singing one of their favorite songs, “Jesus is my number 1”. If you missed out on it, you can get the DVD at the Neno media desk or look out for the children’s next on-stage performance in the coming weeks.
