Itibari (2yrs) & Neema (3yrs) Classes

This Sunday the 2-3 year olds started a new curriculum on GOD KEEPS US SAFE. God keeps us safe and provides for us.

Lesson: God keeps us safe because He Loves Us

Bible reference: Gen 6:9 and 9:17

 

 

 

Imani (4-5 yrs) Class

This Sunday the 4-5 year olds started a new curriculum on SURPRISED BY SHARING. The Bible basis came from the story of Joseph.Joseph had grown up and attained a powerful position on Pharaoh’s staff. It is no wonder his brothers did not recognize him when he was sent to  Egypt. Genesis 39:2 tells us that Joseph shared with his brothers

Aim:

That the children will:

  • Hear a story about how Joseph shared food with his brothers.
  • Practice sharing with each other.
  • Talk about what makes sharing hard.

 

 

 

Sifa (6-7yrs), Shangwe (8-9yrs) & Johari (10-11yrs) Classes (QUEST)

This Sunday, the 6-11 year olds’ reviewed the lessons on Queen Esther

OVERVIEW

God gives Esther the courage to tell what is true.

Bible story

Esther tells the King of Haman’s plan. The Jews are victorious.

Bible back ground: Esther 7:1, 9:15

Bible Verse: Proverbs 16:13 “Kings take pleasure in Honest lips; they value a man that speaks the truth.

Aim:

That the children will recognize the words that come when they have the courage to tell the truth.

 

THE TESTAMENT JUNIOR SOCCER LEAGUE

THEME: Touch a thousand children’s life through sport and whole life coaching

Sunday 15thJanuary 2012

Itibari (2yrs) & Neema (3yrs) Classes
This Sunday the 2-3 year olds started a new curriculum on Jesus Loves Us. Jesus considered children Precious treasures. Jesus embraced children with His words, His arms, His Heart and the little ones who once seemed inconsequential were given the keys to Heaven. (Mark 10:14-16)
Aim:
 Children will learn that Jesus loves little children.
 Children will discover a new way to say I love you.

Imani (4-5 yrs) Class
This Sunday the 4-5 year olds started a new curriculum on prayer power. In the early days of the church in Jerusalem, the apostles used their God given power to heal the sick and proclaim the message of Christ.
Aim:
That the children will:
 Talk about times that they pray.
 Hear how Peter’s friends prayed for him while he was in prison and also pray for each other
Verse to learn:
1 Cor 12:27 “Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it”

This Sunday, the 6-11 year olds’ reviewed the lessons on Jesus coming as a baby and living a perfect life.
Aim:
That the children and pre-teens will:
 Understand how God is the Head of the trinity by demonstrating how water is once substance that can be in three different forms them not because of their good works, but because of His mercy.

Matthew 27:19,23
